Popular
as an evening event during a Children’s Voices Theatre residency,
Family Fun Night brings the whole family together for creative merriment.
Marv Klassen-Landis and Michael Zerphy model several ways to create
and perform humorous poems and skits. Then groups of two to three
families join forces to play these poetry/theatre games together.
The evening comes to a close with laughter and loud applause as
each group shares what they have created.
Parents often tell us that Family Fun Night inspired their children
to write more poems at home and encouraged their families to play
together in new ways.
